Devoted fans of Ariana Grande are urging that a man who jumped a barrier and grabbed the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the actors walked down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though legal records revealed that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

History of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram account includes recordings of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney concert in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last December.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is clearly a legal violation," commented an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user remarked.

Followers Express Concern Over the Star's Past Trauma

Several followers accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the end of her 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said a further comment on Instagram.

Some fans also criticised event staff at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while some requested online networks to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In clips shared widely, Grande looked startled when she was approached by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of supporters had assembled in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore venue, including some who had waited for as long as many hours before it began.

The motion picture, to be premiered on November 21, is the second of a two-film interpretation of the well-known theatrical show Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely bond between two very different characters.

The production itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who acts as the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and earned a dozen award recognitions, earning two for best costume and artistic direction.
